Samsung Expects 9 million pre-orders Galaxy III

Developments in the market for advanced mobile phones are at a record pace, and in the lead, inter alia the Korean Samsung. The flagship Galaxy II was one of last year's most popular models with more than 20 million copies sold, among other things, helped the company to take over the position as the world's largest manufacturer of Finnish Nokia.

Now the focus is instead on the upcoming Galaxy S III, and it looks bright for the newcomer. According to news agency Reuters , Samsung count the entire 9 million pre-orders from more than 100 mobile operators worldwide, which means good potential for even better sales than its predecessor Galaxy II. At the same time said the company's factories go into overdrive with 5 million units produced per month.

Samsung Galaxy S III was presented on May 3, and is expected to reach stores later this month. Specification includes a 4.8 "SAMOLED screen with 1280x720 pixels, quad-core ARM platform Exynos 4 Quad (Qualcomm S4 in Japan) and 1 GB of RAM. OS is Android 4.0" Ice Cream Sandwich "with Samsung's own interface Touchwiz.
